Bio: Nate B. - Beer Lover
Light on professional credentials but no stranger to the paying side of the
bar, Nate brings to these pages an enjoyment of beer drinking as pure
recreation. Like so many, he finds triple-digit golf and reality television
nearly unbearable without the accompaniment of that gift from a cooler.
Nate is increasingly buoyed by the craft beer movement and its
acceptance into the mainstream of bar and restaurant offerings.
Like travel writers and the subjects of Jeff Foxworthy jokes, Nate has
taken numerous vacations centered on the beer industry, ranging from
the Pacific Northwest Coast to Colorado to a semester abroad that, in
hindsight, just can’t be explained another way.
In his free time, Nate generally drinks beer. But in addition, and
sometimes simultaneously, he enjoys snow skiing on runs way beyond his
ability-level, 80’s rock, and yelling at C-SPAN. Nate currently lives in
the Midwest with his wife and three kids—there are several small
breweries nearby.
